Vioxx Side Effects
Side effects are possible, and if any are unusual or particularly persistent,
be sure to let a doctor know immediately. Before you buy Vioxx also, visit our
Vioxx mainpage to get a clear understanding of what
you should look out for and what specifics about yourself you need to tell a
doctor. No two patients are the same, so Vioxx dosage and monitoring will be
dependent on conditions that each patienty may have had in the past and/or medications
they may currently be taking. To prevent negative Vioxx side effects, you need
to be very forthcoming with your doctor.
Possible Vioxx Side Effects
If you experience any of the following side effects, they are considered quite
serious so if they occur, stop taking it immediately and see a doctor:
- an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling
of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
- abdominal pain, tenderness, or discomfort;
- unexplained weight gain;
- swelling or water retention;
- unusual fatigue or lethargy;
- bloody, black, or tarry stools;
- a skin rash or itching;
- yellowing of your skin or eyes;
- nausea or heartburn;
- blood in your vomit;
- "flu-like" symptoms; or
- unusual bruising or bleeding.
Other Vioxx Side Effects
Other less serious side effects such as dizziness, mild fatigue or weakness
and diarrhea are possible. If any of these occur, you can continue to take Vioxx
but be sure to let your doctor know that they are happening.
Although Vioxx is not likely to cause intenstinal and stomach bleeding, there
is a slight danger that this could actually occur. Let a doctor know immediately
if you've ever had this problem, and when you take Vioxx, be on the look out
for warning symptoms such as stomach discomfort or black, tarry stools. These
symptoms could occur without warning.
Side effects other than those above can occur. Again, speak to a doctor about
any side effect(s) that seems unusual or that is particularly bothersome.
